First off..
What shampoo is best for your hair? I hear theres a lot of crap that shouldn't go in hair and sadly it's a common ingredient. Something under 20 bucks that someone could recommend that I could pick up at a CVS or Eckerd?

Second..
I hear some vitamins help make hair grow to it's full potential. Is it true and what do you recommend that isn't ridiculously expensive?

The shampoo is called Creme Of Nature and it is in a white bottle with red letters and the top is yellow. It has a built in conditioner so that when you wash your hair you comb it while it is wet. For a good treatment I would recommend Motions and also Ahpogee Protein treatment.
For the hair pills this is the best that I have used Avacore and Hair Genesis. When I take them I also take a iron pill, and every now and then I use a prenatal vitamin. I hope that this helps you.

The only shampoo I would recommend that can be purchased at CVS is suave daily clarifying... We were taught this in beauty school that its the only shampoo that can compete with professional shampoos. I use it once a week to get out any build up but it is safe to use every day.. Pantiene is actually the worst you can use.

No shampoo is going to help your hair grow faster...

dont use pantene...its full of silicone and will build up on your hair...go to a local chain salon and get some biologe smoothing, fortifying, or hydrating shampoo depending on your hair type...they will run you about 15 dollars for an entire liter...and a lot of salons have sells on the stuff,...we have biologe 2 for $25 right now for a liter...that's why its better to get professional products at a salon...they will have better deals that a grocery store....and any multivitamin will help your hair grow a little...just because your body will be getting the proper nutrition for it to function properly...the speed at which it grows faster will not be noticeable to the naked eye...hair grows half an inch a month..give or take a few millimeters....nothing noticeable

Samy Salon System: this line has no wax, leaves no build up or residues. You can find all its products at Walgreens ($6.99 for shampoos, conds and most styling products in this line)
Try it! They're great. I use The Samy Salon System Smooth line. The Smooth Reaction Styling Cream it's great no matter how you wanna wear you hair (straight/ curl)

first i recommend pantene pro-v. its really good and has hair repair, smoothing serum and others to suit your needs. also try fructis.

i heard that olive oil can make hair naturally thicker, whilst shampoos with fruit extract is the best you can do for your hair. remember dont buy cheap as cheap is bad and will just dry hair up. pantene is about 7 dollars and so is fructis.

I can't answer the shampoo question but prenatal vitamins are great for growing long hair and strong, hard nails.

clarifiing shampoo and a very light conditioner, Dove is a very good, Pantene is very bad , sadly there are no real salutions for making your hair grow fast except to have it trimmed often every 3-4weeks and eat lots of lean meat, oh and it wouldn't hurt if you stimmulated your scalp in a circular motion while you showered, good luck :)
