I think it depends on length cause mine wouldnt work neither when it was shorter.
When your in the shower tilt your head down under the water make sure its all down. Then take a towl to it like that scrunching it up at the time. Use moose and hairspray make sure both are extra hold or ultra hold. You could also try hair gel as well.

i think u may need some kind of natural curl or wave to get your hair to scrunch. i use garnier fructisse Surf Hair. it is in a yellow and green container and it works awesome. i use it almost everyday. your hair wont be "hard," but it should give it some wave. i have also used aussie sprunch spray, which is good too. try them both and see what u like better :)

Buy pure aloe vera gel, it holds hair better , plus it is natural and great for the hair.
Slim it on the hair and comb in whatever shape u want, for extra hold use hairspray afterwards

when your hair is wet scrunch it then spray it with hair spray. That is going to work the best. in my point of view.

my hair doesnt work either. i think it also depends on length cuz my sister can scrunch hers but she couldnt when she didnt have long hair so.
