In short, no pun intended, you can't. Putting pregnancy and illness aside, hair pretty much grows at a maximum rate of half an inch per month no matter what you do. A little faster in the summer than in the winter.

Make sure that you have a professional cut any damaged hair and use hair repair products. Split ends will stop growth in a heart beat. Read the below article to help you regain control of your hair and grow it longer.

I've heard that if you massage your scalp for ten minutes everyday, it stimulates the nerves on your head and makes your hair grow faster.
Then again, I've also heard that trimming it every so often makes your hair grow faster, and it doesn't. Why would it? It just makes it seem like it's growing faster, but it doesn't.

Massage your shamp/conditioner into your scalp to stimulate the circulation this also works with brushing with a good plastic bristled brush keeping the end trimmed to prevent splits is a good idea for not going backwards.
Also a healthy balanced diet plenty water, minerals and vitamins and take time to stress free your life yoga, warm bubble bath, beach, ipod whatever works for you.
Things that stress me writing this before anyone answered then when sent it ten replies beat me Aaarrrrgg! He He!

Ignore the people who claim a cut will make it grow faster- hair grows from the roots so that will actually achieve nothing!
And nothing you do will make your hair grow faster. Its a case of patience.

The best way to have it grow is by getting a trim every few months to get rid of the split ends. All of the creams, pills, etc. will not help.

make sure you eat properly and get lots of vitimins. Eat your 5 portions of fruit/veg dailey. This will help you hair to grow at a good rate and keep it in a good condition too.
