this is quite normal if you havent had waxing before then you may not know what to expect. the redness should go down with 24 hours of the treatment to help aid it use witch hazel or tea tree gel this will cool the area reducing redness. it may be likely that you have sensitive skin

avoid touching the area and only have a luke warm bath tonight

Well, if it was an allergic reaction to the wax, benadryl in cream, being an antihystamine, should help clear it. You can buy it at any pharmacy. If it was just sensitive skin, then you will need some time to clear but aloe would be a good idea. Also a cold damp cloth on it for a little while might sooth you if it hurts. This happens to me too but it clears within 12 hours. My salon puts some aloe cream right after waxing, always. Good luck.

Waxing is over rated.Don't wax anymore. All you can do is put some cream on and wait. I use two different things for my peach fuzz.It looks like a pen and it's called finishing touch. It's a lttle shaver just for your face.I've been doing it for years and it does not grow back thicker or darker. Then there is the Epi slim.It is a small hand size machine that pulls the hairs out. This I like better due to it takes longer to grow back. But I use the pen looking shaver when I'm in a hurry. There both easier and less painful with no redness.

Sounds like you either had an allergic reaction to the wax, or you just have sensitive skin! My skin did the same thing to me when I had my eyebrows first waxed.....let's just say, I haven't waxed them since then! Try some aloe! it will help soothe the area! Other than that, just time will heal it!

If it was your first time, it is normal. Do not touch the area with your fingers. The skin is trying to heal itself. You could put ice or cucumber on it. If this was not your first time waxing that area, I think either the procedure or the product was too harsh. Any way, no worries, it will go away.

LEAVE IT ALONE, DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON IT--it will clear up soon on its own and then try to find out what type of wax was used on you. That info will keep that from happening again.

after you waxed it did you put baby oil on . because every time yo wax you allways supose to put baby oil to prevent the redness and it gives oil back in the skin. or you could be alergict to the wax you used

Most people have already said this, but aloe vera gel, witch hazel and Tea Tree will help soothe the skin.
