Grrr, I have the same request! I hate going to the hairdresser, and am moving to central London this month, so I need to know! We should form a support group! I hate the way hairdressers just take one look and decide they'd rather not.
Good luck with the search and let me know if you find one!

I also have this problem as well, and have had so many bad haircuts that I am now terrified to go to a salon!! I have tried several in London so far, but none that I am happy to recommend, just in case you come after me if I give you a bad reference!! More hairdressers need to train with curly hair, most of them usually ask me if I want it straightened, erm...no...why would I want that??

I find it a revelation that nobody is prepared to recomend a hairdresser ,but try to go to the local college ( Beauty and Haidressing Dep.) and you get good help !
