i have straight hair, but it always looks dry and unkept. what can i do to make it shinier?

Beer I am told acts as a good conditioner. Have you tried it?

rinse your hair in cold water when rinsing the conditioner out is an easy tip
also n youll laugh at this bend over while your in the shower and wash your hair, i cant remeber why thys works but its sum about circulation. Also make the first thing u do is wash then condition so the ends of hair can soak n conditioner -
most importantly rinse your hair in cool water it seaks in moisture from cuticle to end!!!

Use a good conditioner, or shine spray. Try Avon or Mark hair products. Also try beaten egg, just apply for half hour, then wash out with water and vinegar - don't use hot water or you'll get scrambled eggs in your hair!

Break vitamin E capsules and work them in your hair even if it smells a little =) then shampoo like always... the best thing is mashing an avocado it gives you incredible shine, i put a shower cap on my head and blast the hairdryer too because it absorbs deeper if it's warm. well hope this works! good luck!!

Theres a really good shampoo call like tale and mane it has pictures of horses on the bottle but it make you hair really healthy and shiney

Frizz Ease is a great product especially when combination frizzy hair-it makes your hair glossy.
The old fashion way is using vinegar or beer. It will eave it very shiny.

there are some hair serum/gels, dat aren't like gel, but they make your hair shinier, silkier, and less frizzier. i use 'sunsilk'..it works pretty good. i also like using garniers fructis (<--sp error?) and maybe panteene...but herbal essenses (<--sp??) too..or maybe those tiny little bottles....
try going to target and then look in the hair section.. there are some gr8 products out there!

Use mayonnise or I like brilliant brunette the shampoo, conditioner, and the silky stuff gel product that they have....

use conditioner or go to some beauty/hair store like Sally Beauty and you can buy this hair gloss thing. it makes your hair look shiny. its cool,
