Just cut them off. A split end is only a 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch in length. Just have a hair stylist cut the ends off for you. Or, if you prefer, you can snip away at your hair ends yourself.

Use scissors, not a razor. Razors tend to cut the end of the hair shaft at an angle rather than straight across. The angled cut makes the hair end weaker and more likely to split again.

Keep in mind that ends are sometimes not split, but are frizzed instead. Hair cut at an angle rather than straight across will frizz more easily. The heat from an iron will cause the frizzing.

Whatever your case may be, split or frizzed or both, cutting the ends is the answer.

there is a product that you can get from Sally Beauty (on line if not a store near you) ~ the brand is ION and the product is heat protectant for hot irons.

it really works .. one thing you might have to do first is get them cut ... you can get your split ends trimmed without actually trimming your hair ... and then start using that stuff.

The flat iron is not wrecking your hair heat is good for hair
you need to get a trim.. never go to bed with wet hair...
You also should NEVER use a brush on wet hair always a wide tooth comb...hair is like elastic when wet and will brake off when using a brush...GOOD LUCK....

You might just need the ends trimmed. If they are that fried, I wouldn't think conditioner would help.

THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO CUT THE SPLIT ENDS BECAUSE ONCE THEY ARE SPLIT THEY CANT BE MENDED TOGETHER. ALSO, ITS BEST TO GET THEM CUT SOON BRCAUSE THE LONGER YOU GO WITHOUT CUTTING THEM-THE CLOSER THEY SPLIT UP YOUR HAIRSHAFT TO YOUR SCALP-WHICH MEANS THAT YOU HAVE TO CUT MORE HAIR.

THE BEST THING TO DO AFTER GETTING THEM OFF IS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR. USE PRODUCTS SECIFICALLY FOR YOUR HAIRTYPE AND CHARACTERISTICS. AND A REGULAR TRIM. AND ALWAYS GET YOUR HAIR SERVICED BY A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL!!!

1.- Stop burning your hair so often... we're lucky now the wet look is in again, apply some mousse when it's still wet.
2.- Cut your hair often... no, don't get scared, just your ends... to keep it healthy
3.- Avoid ponytails or anything when your hair is still wet.... it damages your hair horribly.
