should i cut my hair first b4 i dye it or just dye it after i get it cut just wondering if it would make a difference on the health of my hair

In the front my hair used to be really thin and now I have a bald spot in the front of my hair!....I mean i can cover it but I don't like looking at it....It just seems like its gonna keep breaking and breaking til theres no more hair left and its on both sides....the right side being the worst....What should I do?

Yes i do blow dry my hair n use curling irons alot....but I don't know what other way to do my hair....

I dyed my hair a few days ago, and it turned a grayish-orangish color. I want to re-dye it to cover the uglyness, but I'm afraid it will get fried. My hair feels soft now, so I don't think there's too much damage. Please help!! Thank you!!

it is impossible for her to straighten her hair like mine, it takes hours and just springs back up again! so im stuck w/ curling my hair. our curling iron is crappy and doesnt work well, and im not gonna spend 50 bucks on a curling iron just for one day. i have foam rollers that are really little, so they would create tight curls, and i look TERRIBLE when i try that. any helpful ideas on how to work the rollers or on any other solutions? thanks!

I have a curling iron, but it's not big so the curls it creates are usually tighter than the ones in this picture. Is it still possible to use it to achieve this wavy affect, though? And also, what sorts of products should I use to create it? The more detailed the answer, the better!

I am writing this because I just saw a comment that said that professional stylist are trained to style all hair types. I have heard of professional stylist who are white and are able to style black hair , I have seen them at hair shows, etc. And I have also visited a white stylist once. Just for a trim and style. She trimmed my hair fine, but the styling was bland and boring . I find it a rare occasion to find a non-black stylist who can not only style hair, but help maintain its health.
