it is impossible for her to straighten her hair like mine, it takes hours and just springs back up again! so im stuck w/ curling my hair. our curling iron is crappy and doesnt work well, and im not gonna spend 50 bucks on a curling iron just for one day. i have foam rollers that are really little, so they would create tight curls, and i look TERRIBLE when i try that. any helpful ideas on how to work the rollers or on any other solutions? thanks!

u can both tie your hair up/only curl what will be dangling down, pull it up, about midway on your head, both leave a strand down one side of your head, and curl it,add a ribbon to it.

wash your hair, then while still wet apply a setting lotion or foam. use roller papers (about 1 or 2 dollars at sally beauty supply) to wrap the ends of your hair, then roll them and sit under the dryer. leave the rollers in until your hair is completely dry. if you are black spray a little oil sheen on your hair after pulling the rollers out. you can adjust the tightness of the curls by running your fingers thru them or combing with a wide toothed comb.

Wet your whole head and then put your hair up in a messy ponytail for a few minutes. Then take back down, your hair should be alittle wavy. Ad some gel and scrunch you hair up with you fingers and then ad some moose. And last but not least hair spray your whole head so you curls will stay. I hope it works for you. I do it all the time and it works for me!

try putting both of your hair in buns. you could scrunch or foam roll them overnight to give it the same texture.

my other ideas included:
bandanas
lots of braids
hats (if allowed)
regular ponytail and straightening the end half of her hair (depending on how long her hair is)

good luck.

I have an idea that you can do, it might not be curly but it will be wavy. Wet your hair, braid your hair down, use gel and blow dry it until it's dry in the morning take the braids out and finger through it and your good to go.

just scrunch it........ have you ever seen it done? well when you get out of the shower leave your hair wet and brush it have Moose and hairspray and put a lot, and scrunch your hair with your hands and keeps scrunching while it has moose and spray hairspray on it, when its dry ( it will probly be shiny and hard but looks nice) and it will look curly. do it all over your hair.

Both of you wear a hat. Really cool matching hats.

but your hair up and tell her to use gel to slick hers back. hats are a good option to add...along with wigs?
