Hair - September 2006

Everytime i dye my hair with Revlon Permanant dye, it seems to fade and wash out only a few days later. What am i doing wrong? any suggestions? Thanks

I use a conair hair straigtener but when i get to highschool and i look in the mirror its recked i walk around and all the other girls hair is perfectly straight and i want that to can anyone give me some tips advice etc?

My hair has always taken it's good ole time growing, I dont know if it has anything to do with that I have natural curly hair. (tight curls) It seems like Ive tried everything and nothing works. If you know of anything that truely does work. let me know.

Right now I don't have any bangs, and I have platinum blonde hair that goes down to the bottom of my back. I really want to do something different without dying my hair. I was thinking about getting my bangs back and getting a face frame. Is this a bad idea? Does anybody have any other ideas?

My hair is dark, long, thick and curly (kinda like Christina Milians when she wears it curly). I straighten it with a round brush and a blowdryer followed by a flat iron. I notice it looks shinier when I use the round brush, but that goes away in a couple of days. Any suggestions to re introduce shine to my hair after it goes away?

Ever since I was little my hair naturally parted down the middle. Is there anyway to slowly change this? Like if I parted my hair on the side for the next few years would that eventually be the way my hair grew? Or would I just end up with 2 different parts on my head? Just curious.

I have always had thin fine hair. When I was little it was so fine that if I wore it in a pony tail my hair would fall out! Luckily I don't have that problem now...but i'm trying to grow my hair out longer..problem is...my thin hair looks even more thin long. I really want hair at least to my shoulders. I use volume shampoo and conditioner and root lifter...almost everything known to man to help...but it doesn't help. What about using sponge rollers at night and then straightning it in the morning? Anyone try this? Any suggestions would be very much appreaciated. Oh and please don't mention high price products b/c i'm a poor college student that shops only at walmart...and target when i'm lucky = D

I just happened to see an answer where someone is recommending prenatal vitamins for hair growth or that they heard of it. Does anyone know if this helps with hair growth? I took some prenatal vitamins 'cuz the dr told me to start taking them b4 trying to get pregnant, but i felt like i was losing hair, i felt like my hair was falling out so i stopped taking them.

I am not sure what flat iron to buy. My daughter says it needs to be set on 35 or higher. I am afraid she will end up burning her hair. I see flat irons from 129 degree C all the way through to over 200 degree C. What should I be looking for?
