As long as you know you can't FIX split ends! Regular trims, of course as you know, are key, but a diet rich in protein and water is important as well. To disguise split ends, you can use a number of things, BioSilk Silk Therapy, a hair mask such as Regis DesignLine Olive Oil Hair Masque, or a leave in conditioner like Regis DesignLine Olive Oil Leave-In Conditioner. You can use other brands, these are just my suggestions, but you should also know that professional products are worth every dime. The quality in professional products is way beyond store bought brands. It's also important to use a good quality shampoo and conditioner designed specifically for your hairtype. Salon employees will be able to help point you in the right direction. Good luck!!

You can use oils and such and heavy masques and conditioners but with split ends not being trimmed they will continue to split and will make your hair towards the bottom seem thinner after time. Thats why you must get them trimmed. If you are trying to cover them cause you are going out somewhere and you havent made it to the salon then use a heavy conditioner and let your hair air dry. If you can see your split ends without searching for them then it is DEFINATLY time to get your hair cut. IT will never grow long if they are split!

Smooth the ends with an anti-frizz serum like John Frieda's Frizz-Ease. It will give the appearance of fewer split ends.

there are many products at the drug store that are good... I personally hate triming my hair because i love long hair and for me it takes forever to grow...and i found Redken Smooth Down butter treat... it a little more expensive than the stuff at the drug store but it works wonders. Good Luck!!! =)

Try a VO5 hot oil treatment. It works wonders. You can get it at the local drug store.
