i wont to go to be an actor when i grow up am 13 and i need to start and Disney or something and how can i get something without paying allot i don't have that much money.

Does any actor here sometimes feel like you sucked in a scene? Today I did a scene, and I felt like I didn't do so well. Now, I feel like crap! I mean I did prepare for the scene, but when I got up and did it I just tanked!!! I felt like I didn't speak clearly and it was awkward being up there!!! I guess I need to work harder!!!

I don't know what non-union and union means. I landed a job in a movie that is union, and I heard somewhere that I can't be in a non-union film, since I'm already doing a union movie. So I don't know, its confusing, I don't really know what those words means. And which one is better? Help? Oh and please explain it in an EASY way. Some of you guys tend to talk all smart-like and I'm really dumb so I wouldn't understand. so yeah, help me please?

I recently took interest in trying out for a few feautre films. I'ma very dramatic person and I am very good at getting into charachter when i read roleplays and stories to my younger sister. How can i let my parents know that I'm taking interest in the subject and I want to give it a shot? Is it worth the shot or would I just be wasting my time?

I know of some people through friends that have been extras in movies...I would like to become an actress or singer someday and would love to get a chance to work in a real tv show or film...i'm only 14 and don't really have any acting experience but could someone please give me some info on where to start? P.S. I'm just starting voice lessons and maybe gonna start acting classes...

I am actually more interested in theater and drama,because of on the spot performance ,no outtakes no second chances- you have to be on cue and right on the money or else you're screwed lol plus I enjoy the intensity needed that drama brings to the table. Where to start? the state university has a theater program,I guess I could start there being that I am a newb lol

I would love advice on how to become a tv or movie extra? I live in a small city, Flint, MI, but I would be willing to travel to a big city if I knew I could get work. Do I need to send in photos to agencies or casting offices in NY or LA? I don't know of places in my city or state that films commercials or movies. Do I need an agent? How much does an extra make? Any help would be appreciated.

I've got an audition coming up for a musical within the next few days. On the notice posted online, your asked, if not auditioning for a lead, to sing "Happy Birthday" or another simple number with no music.

What exactly qualifies as a "simple number"? Does it HAVE to be like "Happy Birthday" or "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"? Or can it be like a regular song...acapella style?

i think i may want to be an actor. i've had leads in school plays, and i just love it...it's the biggest high in the world, and i think i want to spend the rest of my life doing it! but then again, it's hard, and many great people never get a shot...and i would like something to fall back on...i don't want to be a starving artist. does anyone have any suggestions, please?

I have to do a monologue for a play audition. It has to be one minute long and it has to be from a play (Can't write it myself >:( ) The requirment is that it is a minute long. If it helps, this is audition for a highschool play (a comedic one). Though it doesn't have to be paticularly funny, I just need some suggestions or plays I can borrow at the library. Any ideas?

I am getting ready to send off my headshots/resume to two different agencies. One agency specifically asks for two headshots. The other does not specify how many. Do you think two is enough?? Or would four be better??? And do I attatch my resume to each one, or just one of them?? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!

I am planning on using a stage name for acting. I am NOT using my real name, so please do not even bring that up :-). How do I find out which names I can and can't use? I know there can only be one person with a certain name who is with SAG. Is there a site I can go to to find out?? I tried looking on SAG website, but I couldnt figure it out.
