im really serious about acting and i dance i have a fairly good amount of training and im takin classes in the spring plz hlp??!?!

If you really want to get noticed I would pick up a book on the business side of acting as well as take a business of acting class. This will teach you everything you need for the business side of things, including marketing the product(aka you), and another tip is to buy and use clear windowed envelopes so your headshot is seen first. I hear this works wonders. The book I would reccomend, seeing as I own a copy and know it is good, is Promoting Your Acting Career by Glenn Alderman. Check Amazon.com for this, cause you can get a new copy through the Amazon Marketplace pretty inexpensively(under $15 I believe). This small investment is worth it.

Audition for a reputable acting company or participate in an Improv group. It is away to improve your skills and a way to be seen.

Well you have to do something to get noticed. An agent might help, but you first have to actually physically start doing something, such as auditioning at any and all things that you can. You won't get noticed if you don't do anything.
