so what exactly happens during a cold reading in an audition?

I have an audition on tuesday and I have to do a cold reading!!! Do you know what IO should do to prepare for it!!

practice by reading aloud ads from magazines, the back of the cereal box, whatever you can pick up and read

Usually they will hand you a script or copy and say they want you to do this. You say, "May I have a moment to look it over?" They should say yes. Read it over quickly and decide what you are going to do with it (what your character is like) and then say,"I'm ready." and do it.
