I live about 2 hours away from Albany, NY and I want to find an agent to send an audition resume to for children ages 10-12 (or around those ages, but those are the two I need). Any ideas would be appriciated!!

Well you can always go to sag.org for a list of sag agents in your area. If you live in NY, I am sure there are a plethora of them listed. They will be union agencies of course. Call them, and ask what is the name of the agent who represents children w/in the agency. Agencies especially if they are pretty large, have different categories such as film, theatre, commercials, and also different age groups within the agencies. To make it easier, different agents represent different groups. That way, on your submission you can put "Attention" and the persons name. In Los Angeles, there is a book called I believe Sag Agents and it tells what age group certain agents within the agency represents, and if they represent children at all. It saves postage knowing.

Well, do a web search for Talent agents in Albany. You will need to send each of them a head shot and resume and a letter from the parent requesting representation. Watch out for scams. Real agents never ask you for money for anything and do not try to sell you lessons or anything.
