I recently took interest in trying out for a few feautre films. I'ma very dramatic person and I am very good at getting into charachter when i read roleplays and stories to my younger sister. How can i let my parents know that I'm taking interest in the subject and I want to give it a shot? Is it worth the shot or would I just be wasting my time?

Absolutely NO feature films will higher someone with no experience unless you're living in some kind of parallel universe or you're the daughter of a major director. Go audition for some community theater and work your way up to professional theater, then get an agent and you MIGHT be in a feature film. And most importantly, you must be open about this with your parents. Acting is 90% percent hard work and dedication and 10% talent. You can't just wake up and become an actress one day. You have to work at it for many years

p.s. Actors also aren't always outgoing. They may be on screen or stage but behind the sceens they are usually calm and professional.

Things don't work the way you think they do. If you want to act for fun by all means do it. If you are trying to get into a movie and make the big bucks forget it. If you haven't taken professional level classes belive me, you are not ready to act at the professional level. And if you don't live in NY or LA, almost all of the jobs come out of there. Even if they don't shoot the movie there, that's where the auditions were held. Just act in school and find a kid's theater group.

well, the telling your parents part is the hardest i had to go through it.well you really shouldnt assume anything at this point(no fence) you should try to join a drama club, search up things about acting and stuff, and at least try to get experince, so you cant say(no experiance) anymore. the funnest thing to do (to me) is to get a camera and start making vids for youtube, technically those are films, and if you work hard, and they are good, you have great chances, good luck!!!

There is none, just tell them at dinner. But you don't give it a shot. It takes a lifelong devotion of hard work to be an actor.

At 13 all mothers and dads are mean and on no account enable them to do what they want. Even the babies who carry out in parking plenty and in the streets have themes. Your husband has a severe point of integrity for his daughter and that's remarkable. save on your weapons and do what's acceptable for you and your daughter. She has no company courting at this age. yet a nicely supervised team day out to the movies and mall for a sprint is what I did at that age and is right. i've got considered a great number of 12 - 14 12 months previous women in this solutions requesting suggestion on no be counted if or not they could be pregnant. And the greatest reason is time left unsupervised. Bored babies attempting to be grown up. you are able to clarify to her that there are regulations on loitering in parking plenty and streets for a reason and he or she could desire to refrain from that. possibly she could desire to be extra in contact along with her babies team and you men could desire to discover mothers and dads of babies her age who share the comparable values. this way she would be waiting to not sense so forced by employing those "friends" in college. Our babies team had many stuff to do, bowling night, days on the coastline, even purely a dinner on the fellowship corridor and pastime night. those can supply her the social life she craves without the exposure to undesirable issues. tell your husband kudos to him for worrying approximately his daughter's destiny. As for myspace there is an age, i'm uncertain what, that adolescents could have a myspace, it extremely is for a sturdy reason. If she needs one that undesirable attempt permitting her to do on a supervised foundation. enable her be responsive to that is not her you do not have confidence yet different human beings and you're able to desire to make useful she is secure. If she does not like that concept then too undesirable, no myspace. There are regulations to persist with in life and coaching them to appreciate the regulations can on no account be a foul element!
