Okay, I would really love it if there were some serious answers on here. I have a dream - No, not to become the next Miley Cyrus or Jennifer Aniston, but a dream I actually think is realistic. I live near Los Angeles, I think auditioning for some commercials, or even guest starring on a reality TV show would be an amazing experience. Since I'm still only fourteen, I realize my parents encourage me to be the typical "doctor, engineer, professional"...and I don't approve of modeling with bikinis, nude, or revealing clothes. I just want to say I've had the experience of being in showbiz - And hey maybe if the showbiz likes me, I can pursue it further. For now, I think it would be awesome to be famous, but I just want to pursue my passion of being on stage. I want to audition - Any advice?

I plan to take broadcasting in either college or university, but after I graduate I want to become a voice actor. What kind of broadcasting would I have to take to learn more skills to get to where I want to go and what kind of things would I learn in that course?

what part of that don't you understand!?!? sorry, maybe i should start from the begining.
i live in the state of missouri which is not exaxtly the place a person would go to become an actress my mom and dad are to broke to travel or do anything else i am in an acting class and i go to the library every week and get books on acting drama i am in a play at school cause it is one of my classes i have been in a play at science city and i ask people "what now?" and they say do what you are doing now and you will get noticed. why do they do that to me i work my butt off everyday i look on the internet evertime i am on if there are any agencies i can participate in i am in every play in independence!!!!!!!!!! i have been doing this since i was 4 years old and i was mary in a school play. if i do what i do know than i am going to be working untill i am 80 i am losing faith in being an actress would'nt you to? it is ridiculious they say to "work your way up and i am on the 5th step

hello i have been getting ripped off by all these so called talent agencies ,pro scoutt,explore talent,instant cast etc.all they want is my credit card number,somebody please help me ,tell me how can i find casting calls and agents without them asking for my credit card number and what can i do to launch my acting career path,time is passing and i'm getting older and i want to do this while i'm still young and energetic so please tell me how and what i need to do......thanx in advance

Hi, I'm 21, and totally confused. I have not gone to follege yet, since I spent the last two years in the military. All of my life I have dreamt of becoming a theater actress. This past January I flew to NYC and auditioned to 4 really great acting programs (Juilliard, AADA, Marymount Manhattan and Stella Adler). I was accepted to 3 of them. A few months after getting accepted, I just didn't feel like going. I felt like I needed some free time for soul searching. How bad is it to start school at the age of 22? I am completely confused. Please help. Thanx!

Does anyone know any popular (or later popular) band that played at this venue crica. 1962-64?
My Gran used to go there with her friends, and most other girls were screaming at this band or person, yet she doesnt know who they were!
It mgiht have been beatles, Rolling Stones etc... I really dont know, If theres a website you could direct me to also, that would be great.

I'm auditioning with Sins O The Flesh to play Janet Weiss in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm making a screen accurate costume and need to find a white church hat like Susan Sarandon wears during the church scene. It doesn't have to have the ribbon, I can add that on myself. I have a play that I want to read excerpts from for a high school forensics (debate) meet. Its copyright warning says that I need to obtain permission from insert-adress-here. What sort of letter should I write to ask for permission, and what kind of red tape can I expect (I've had bad red tape experiences while getting past the copyright laws for our drama club play).

I want to start with commercials when I'm done with acting school or while in acting school, and then move on to the bigger things gradually like tv shows, movies, etc. Are commercials small enough or should I start smaller?

I'm looking for good acting schools in Southern California (preferrably LA) for kids and teens that are not summer programs because I do not want to wait until next summer to go to acting school and wait even longer to start acting. My goal is to start acting by spring or at least by next fall. Any schools I should go to?
