Besides looking in the arts and entertainment section of your local paper to see what theatres there are, you could always do a google search for your town and "theatre." Or even the biggest city near you. The internet is a great tool, because once you find the local theatres, visit their websites because many will list their audition notices on them.

Did you look online for Community Theater?

Call the newspaper in your city. Ask to speak to the Theatre critic. Ask him or her your question.

Did you look in the entertainment section of your newspaper, where they list plays, movies and other similar events?

try looking in the news paper for adds for the plays and sometimes the advertise the auditions if your city has a web site you can check there. Good luck!
