Im don't live in ur home-town but...try taking acting classes they'll teach most things about acting that you didn't know.
For now you can find gigs around your home-town,just select ur home-town on craiglist.org or casting-call.us and you'll find many audition in ur areas. Most of the gigs are for credit which means you don't get paid. So at least you can put it on you resume. You need a headshot and a reume if you want to presue your acting dream..

Go to an audition and be humiliated over and over like the rest of us. Then study and study and study and study. And still be humiliated from time to time just to keep yourself grounded.
Gotta love the stage!
