For me, there have been several, but I think the scariest one was when I was with the Wyoming Shakespeare Co. We were doing Romeo and Juliet in a park one day and a t-storm hit. Lightning was all over us, the rain was pounding so bad it hurt, then it started hailing. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We were most afraid of the swordplay toward the end because of the lightning. The audience stayed through the whole thing, however. We continued through the storm and we were soaked and our ears hurt from the crashing thunder and wind, but it was unforgettable. I'd like to hear about what you guys have to say...

I was the Prince of Verona, in case you were curious....

I undertand High School Musical is very popular as are shows like Hannah Montana, but RARELY do people get on the Disney Channel. Almost every single female I know in my drama classes have auditioned for Disney, and some are very good--and not one has made it.

I've only been a member of Answers for a couple days, and already I've seen numerous questions asked about auditioning for Disney, sending in resumees, and where to go to get there. But there are MANY other options out there, and you have to work your way up to the top before you become Zac Efron or Hannah Montana.

So my questions are: Do you HONESTLY think you are good enough to be on the Disney Channel? If so, why? Do you have enough experience? And why don't you want to pursue something more worthwhile such as Broadway?

I really want to get into acting, singing, dancing, playing guitar, ect. I'm not just a fan of some movie or band I just enjoy to do all these things. I have my heart set on it. Does anyone have any tips on how to become an actor, like on Disney Channel? So far I have taken Hip-Hop dance lessons for about half maybe 3/4s of a year. I have been in a choir since I was in forth grade. I am about to take guitar lessons. I am going to save the voice lessons till I am some what older. (By the way I'm 13) I am going to try out for the school play and drama club. Does anyone know what else I need to do? Any Tips!? Thanks!

PS- I'm not just doing it for fame!

In my Theatre class, I have to do a non-verbal duet assignment with someone, and we can't talk at all or make any noise. The assignment that we have to act out together has to be three-five minutes long, but I don't know what I should do. I mean, like what kind of act or little skit to do for at least 3 minutes without talking. Any creative ideas?

I've seen alot of positive and negative responses to posts regarding Kids Talent Network. But, I've really not read any facts.

On the negative side all point to KTN being a scam and a ripoff, but not one person has said how they were riped off. Did you pay them money and not get the results you thought you were promised?

I've gone to the KTN website and I've notice that they do not claim to be a talent agency. However, many people using this forum have claimed so. Those with mostly negative answers.

Those with positive answer towards this company seem to be shouted down. Is it so hard to believe that some people do have positive feedback for this company.

Before you start asking if I'm an employee with KTN. I am absolutely not!!!

I am however a Mother of a child who has worked with KTN in the past and will continue to work with KTN in the future. My son has done two commercials through KTN and was sent to an awesome acting coach.

Ok, well I'm in this church play, we're in the midst of rehearsing it. Now I'm planning on sending my headshot and resume somewhere. I've also sent my headshot and resume to a talent agency. So should I put this on my resume?

year type of role location/play (in progress)

Or should I say at the bottom that I'm working on a new play at the moment? I don't want them to think i'm unexpirience because I am. Just for a little heads up I'm planning on sending it to Disney Channel.

To me, headshots are rather confusing. I'm on the East Coast - what is standard here? Just the usual face close up? The 3/4 shot? Or does it not matter? And now I hear the industry is moving away from the classic black and white shot in favor of color photos. Is LA doing 3/4 shots and NYC still doing classic headshots? I'm just not sure which to send out?

Any help from a knowledgeable person would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I'm hosting a movie party at my house for the neighorhood. The children will be filming the movie the afternoon before and then when we are done the parents will watch it. How do you teach the kids to act the right way. We are doing the play High School Musical. There will also be a kiss with 6th grades, How do I prepare them for that?

I went to Model Productions, which one is located in Sawgrass Mills, FL, and there was an open call. I made it to the finals, but I need to pay $150 for portfolio, pictures, and the event. If I make it, I get a one-year contract. But I think it's a scam since I had to pay upfront, but my mom doubts it. We already paid 50 dollars, and if we pay 150 dollars, we get shots that I can use in other agencies. But should I stick with it, or leave the 50?
They say they haven't had a complaint from BBB, and are there websites to detect legit and fake agencies? Thanks!
