Do you live in a city where movies and tv shows are produced on a regular basis?

If so, there may be extra work available for local actors.

In some cities casting directors contact actors they have in their file and ask if they are interested in Extra work.

Have you sent your headshot/resume to local production companies.

If you live in NYC or L.A., mail your headshot and resume to the soap operas that are filmed in those cities.
