I need tips besides thinking of something sad in my life. I'm trying to be an actress and this is one talent I am trying to master. I haven't had that many extremely sad moments. I'm a happy person and of course that's not helping. I tried not blinking and yawning (at the same time) but i still cant get enough tears to actually fall down my face even after blinking several times. I used to cry involuntarily when thinking of fictional sad moments with sad music in my head. Now it doesn't work. Nothing makes me cry! Not even onions! Do i lack tears or something?! Help! Any sad movies i can watch that i can think of later and still cry or anything else like that? Any fictional sad moments I should think of? Sad music to go with it? Anything to make me cry?! Any tricks besides sad moments? Eyedrops? Help!

I have an audition tomorrow for a casting company. It will be in front of the camera and I have never auditioned in front of a camera before - just up on stage. I have a monologue prepared, and they will give me a script to cold-read also. I am very nervous, but don't want to mess up a good opportunity.

Are there any tips you can give me on what to do/ what not to do?
Also, I normally wear very minimal make-up, if any at all, but I think I should put something on to sort of even out my tone - any ideas/ hints? Obviously I want it to look natural and not over the top.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

Okay, I've been reading other peoples questions, and I see that most of the answers for getting out there in the acting world, and gaining auditions, so forth and so on, call for agents. I was wondering what was the price range on agents and such. And I know certian commercials or what not hold open-casting calls, but can you imagine how hard it is when you're not even eighteen yet, and you live in NORTH CAROLINA? Nothing much happens here...(Sorry 'bout useless rambling, lol) But yeah, any comments on average costs for agents, and what I should do since I live in a state that barely knows what the word "industry" means?

i dont want to do film, something about it doesnt feel right to me. its too much pressure on the hollywood scene, i dont want that. instead i want a broadway career on the stage.

but i have NO experience whatsoever, im turning 17 in a year and i want to know where i can get some expierence to push up my resume.
and some tips i can use for my auditions, in research i found that i needed, a song, a monolouge, and a headshot,

i am clueless, help me to fulfill my dream

I really want to try to get headshots and eventually an agent. But while they're behind me (only about 35%, i think, maybe a bit more), they think it's not something that i will do for any significant period in my life. But i have had a good number of leads or supporting roles and i've proved that i can act and sing well. I just don't know how to ask them if i can audition for talent agencies. any advice?

oh, im only 14 and my relationship with my parents has been a tad rocky...not too bad, but i'm not open with them at all. they think i am, but i keep more things from them than i tell them.
