ok like where do you go to see what kind of person they need or are looking for to be in a movie/comercial/show and where the auditions are going to be held at please help thanks

there are many, many websites that have open casting calls. i use www.casting-call.us/ because it lets you search from where you live and what kind of job you want. now they even have music jobs you can search for! www.instantcast.com works pretty well too

Yeh you pretty much need an agent if you want to get paying jobs and you'll have a greater chance of being discovered. But you can also find jobs without an agent. You can find acting jobs located in your hometown by checking out Craigslist.org,your local newspaper,casting-calls.us, But beware most of the jobs listed are not paid so you'll just get credit no money...

Your talent agent submits you for commercials and other acting jobs. You also have to live in a city, such as NYC, where auditions are held everyday.

ummm...i had the same question and everybody was telling me to get an agent but i tough that i can do it myself...well i recentely realised that i cant and as soon as i found an agent i got a couple of options...

You can sign up for backstage, and submit for roles that you feel might be good for you.
