i am an upcoming actress who is getting discovered on film, but hopes to go on broadway.

i dont want to do film, something about it doesnt feel right to me. its too much pressure on the hollywood scene, i dont want that. instead i want a broadway career on the stage.

but i have NO experience whatsoever, im turning 17 in a year and i want to know where i can get some expierence to push up my resume.
and some tips i can use for my auditions, in research i found that i needed, a song, a monolouge, and a headshot,

i am clueless, help me to fulfill my dream

Audition for musical theater productions in your city and book the role.

No matter where you live, there is at least one community theatre nearby. Start getting training in your voice (if you're still in school take a choir or private voice class) Training in dance will also be a big help. A few basic classes in: Ballet, Jazz, and maybe Modern. You might find you like it too, but a little knowledge about movement like that will be a huge help if Broadway is what you want. Learn about shows, and audition for local productions. Break a leg girl! :-)

Okay well I'm 15 and a Broadway hopeful also ( except i would have to do plays since i can not sing worth a crap lol). the advice i keep hearing is keep on auditing for rolls even if you don't get paid for it. Get your face out there, get a agent. Just keep on pushing for it. Let people know who you are, let people know you are serious.

I hope this helps you!! I hope to see you on broadway one day, you never know maybe we will end up in a play together. GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS!!!
