Also what would the ideal job be? I'm guessing something 2nd shift so mornings would be freed up.

I have absolutely no previous acting experience. Do you think (Theatre Arts) college courses are something to consider?

I love acting, getting up on that stage, with that rush woah man. Except, i dont think I am that good?. No one has ever told me I am horrible or even bad but I never get the lead roles and the only people who comment me are my family and my really good friends. If I am bad, does this mean my acting career is over? Was there any really bad actors? Acting school could help, right?

I've just been offered the lead role for a Bollywood style independent film that will start filming in April. The movie will be similar to the film Bride and Prejudice.

The issue however is that salary compensation has not yet been discussed. The budget for the film is about 3 million, however my experience is limited and this is my first film. I'm not expecting millions, but at the same time I dont want to do the project for free. I basically just need a rough range to give me an idea of what I should expect to be paid.

I Want to act. I am 14 and cant afford an agent. I live in Brockport, NY and dont want to do broadway or anything. I'd like to act in a show or movie. It is unfair that you have to live in LA or california to pursue this dream. I dont want to act in plays or go to acting school or lessons. I have no money. Dylan and cole sprouse didnt start off with it. any suggestions??? thnks in advance

Okay, I'm only fourteen, about to be fifteen. I'm going to be a freshman on 8-27-07, and I signed up for Theatre Art, so please don't tell me to sign up for that. I just want to know what are the steps to getting to a Disney channel audition, and things like that. Acting is my passion, and I'm an exellent actress, (Seriously). But the only thing is, is that I don't know where or how to start, and if I do act, I want to act for Disney Channel. Can anyone help me out here?

I think it's perfectly normal for a young kid to think they can grow up to be famous. But most of the kids who post questions here want to be famous now. IMO that's another matter altogether. That's seems a bit sick to me. Especially when a kid gets lots of answers explaining why it's not realistic and then asks the same question over and over. The first time it can be chalked up to naivette. After that there's no excuse. Dumb adults invariably started out as dumb kids. I know plenty of adults who try and fail time and time again to get rich.
It never occurs to them they don't have what it takes and they never will. They live in a state of perpetual disappointment. It's
normal and healthy to fantasize. And lots of the kids who post here will get over the idea fast. But I think there are plenty of kids on here who are flat out delusional and will grow up to be the same way. Any thoughts?

You already live in LA? I don't exactly mean easy, cuz I don't think that would be easy but just easier than if you had no place to live, or is it all the same?
