um.. im sorry but i dont really think that there are free agencies, because i am 12 and i loved to act/sing/model since i was 5 or 6 and i went to an acting school for $2000 they said i have incredible acting skills but i need to work on memorizing a bit [ so i am practicing a lot! ] i was looking for agencies and coaches but they all require money !! =[
i think someone in your family can be your agent though which would pR0bAbLy be free [not sure] but its hard because they have to find auditions and stuff for you! im sure you will need to spend money though on your way to become a star so try babysitting or something just to earn a couple extra bucks you know? it sucks cuz my family isnt rich so we cant spend thousands of dollars for this.. =[ well i hope you get discovered, i understand how much you love to act cuz i would do so much for singing and acting i really wanna get discovered too! but i would recommend doing school plays to practice cuz there's always room for improvement, and even if you don't get a big part in the play, remember that, you have to start somewhere! and if you dont get the lead, YOURE NOT BAD, it just means that someone else fit the part a little better because theres probably 20 other people that wanted the lead 2 lol =] any more questions? you can always try to email me and ill help you as much as i can =]=]
hope we all get discovered and good luck finding an agency =]

Sorry to disappoint you, but you can't just "get discovered" over night. It bugs the freaking crap out of me how everyone in here who asks a question like this thinks they can just go to some website, sign up, and get famous the next day or week or month.
It takes a long time to establish a good career in acting/modeling. This answer I recently gave to a person with a question like this applies directly to you, too:

The first thing you need to do is get experience. When it comes time for you to take the step to get an agent, you will need to be able to show your resume (a list of all your experience), and you will need a lot of experience on it. I always recommend theater as a place to start out because it gives you not only credits that look very good on a resume, but also valuable experience as an actor- if you can perform live with no problem, then everything else is a piece of cake. All the best actors get their start in theater, and ones that didn't often wish they had.
So find your local community theater, call them, and audition for the next play they put on. If you are in school, join the drama club or the school play.
Once you feel you have enough experience on your resume (this can be anywhere from 2 to 7 or 8 years. It took me 6), you call up an agent and set up an appointment to join. Agents are like middle-men. When a company wants to make a commercial, movie, etc, they notify agencies, which in turn tell the actors that they employ. This is necessary because it would obviously be impossible for a company to notify each individual actor. And just so you know, 1) agents do not "seek out and discover" talent like some people sometimes say. You have to contact them. And 2) you never have to pay an agent/agency anything. They only make money when they get you work. Only then do they get to take 10-15% of the money you make. So if an agent ever asks you for money up front, turn around and leave.

And btw I said that agencies only get money when they get you work, and in acting you can get an agent without headshots or anything- as long as you have a resume. But in modeling, you might have to end up spending some money to get some special headshots. I'm not sure about that though. I think as long as you get a few that look good you'll get plenty of work. Sorry it was so long but hope it helps!

Hello Nikki, You sound like a pretty girl who would be great for the job! Your first option is... Convince your parents to move to Hollywood and try out for a part in a movie/TV show. Which I don't think that first option could work out to well! :) Your other option is Barbigan. It is a company that hires girls your age to act and model. I have seen it in magazines, and once I got a postcard in the mail from them, for me to try out. (modeling and acting) Which I should of took the opportunity!! Anyways, here is there number: 1.561.362.9685

Give them a call! Have Fun! and Break a leg! ;) Good Luck!

The modeling industry is located in NYC. When you are older, you can move to NYC to become a model.
