Looking for a reputable sorce for local (prefferably) and long distance auditions... or a site where they show that they are looking for certain kind of people. All im stumbling upon are pay sites, and craigslist mosly links to thoes sites.

theatre doc has some issues... wouldnt you say??some of us dont always have the means or money to do some of the obvios things...... im not trying to be brad pit of angelina jolie... jesus christ... i just want to see if anyone ever puts up ads looking for a specific type of person... i just believe i know some one with special qualities and i'd love if something popped out at me for him... dont worry doc, i wont steal the spotlight from you. geez

If you live in CA, you should have no problem in finding an agent. I have done tons of research on them and found that a lot of them want nonprofessional candid photos and not professional photos if that is something you are concerned about. See if you can submit yourself to an agency.

There are a lot of bogus things on craiglist, be careful!

Theater Doc is 100% right. You have no chance of getting into any professional audition aside from the occasional open call. Thousands of people show up for those and they are a waste. They don't place ads looking for people. Audition information is not made available to the general public. Sorry you

That 's because there are none! When are all of you starry-eyed nobodies going to learn that inexperienced people like you are not going to get cast in a movie or tv show and suddenly become famous? Only happens that way for the offspring of stars who are good looking and talented. The rest of us have to pay our dues--get enough experience to become skilled enough to get an agent and get a job.
