Myself and a girlfriend are going to the theatre for the first time soon (not panto though), we were going to go to an afternoon matinee because tickets are cheaper and we had the time, but a friend has said that generally matinees are of a poorer standard than evening performances and we should avoid if possible, so are matinees rubbish?

I'm about to go to UT austin, and i know i want to be a movie director, but i'm not entirely sure what to major in. i know UT has one of the best film school's in the nation, but i've been making little short films for years. a lot of people have also told me that film school is a waste. i was considering possibly majoring in theatre or psycology. what should i do?

Also, if you know, how much, on average, do they get paid? I want badly to get into musical theatre, but I'm not sure if my acting or singing is good enough to be on stage. I know, however, that I have talent playing the alto saxophone.

I've been on this path for some time. I'm seriously
considering attending LAMDA. However, I'd hate to
sell the US schools short. My true love is Theatre,
so moving to California is out of the question. I've carefully
planned this financially, to make sure that I don't starve,
but I feel that training in London will bring me the most rewarding
results. I don't seek fame or fortune, but a true experience.
I'm a firm believer in "all or nothing" . I'd like to hear from
those with real ecperience. No kids, or ignorant people seeking points.

I was wondering. What do the costumes in the part "Dancing Through Life" look like from the musical "Wicked?" I'm probably going to have a "Wicked" themed party, so I want to know what kind of outfits to tell the guest to wear. Also, do you of any good website that sell outfits similar to the ones Galinda, Elphaba, and Fiyero wore in the sequence? Thanks.
