I've just been cast as 'Kathy', but the dancing is going to be done by someone else. I haven't seen the show or looked at the script, so don't know how big the part is. Thanks!!

I'm going to be performing a monologue approx. 4min, high energy in a very small black box theatre. My question is: any tips on how to stay focused on what your saying without forgetting lines etc. when you have to look the audience members in the eye for the whole piece!? (this is the directors choice). Anyone else tend to freak out when you have to look in their eyes and then realize that all their eyes are on you? This is why I love the blinding lights ... LOL

There is a theatre about 10 miles away from me. It's not much, and the name of it is "Pulaski Fine Arts Association." Do I have to audition for a role at a local theatre? Or can anyone be in it? Sorry I have so many questions. Thanks.

I'm in love with musical theatre and all my choral teachers praise me highly for my talents but I can sometimes be a bit over the top crazy, but it's just who I am. I've done nothing to aggrivate this group of people and I do what I do but people always seem to find something wrong with me. It's really starting to upset me so some great advice would be great.
Thanks

We are to do 'Importance' soon and our director has a few ideas to attract a younger audience. Will this drag you into our theatre?
Lady Bracknell. "Where did the charitable gentleman who had a first-class ricket for this seaside resort find you?"
Jack (Gravely) "In a back-pack"
Ladt Bracknell. "A back-pack?"

I've noticed that almost all famous singers does the vibrato excellently. But I just don't know how to do it. Well, I asked a question a week ago about how do they do it and they told me some nice detailed answers on how to practice it but I'm just wondering if I could be a good singer without it. Anyway, I'm a good actor for live stageplays in our school but I wanna learn how to do the vibrato to improve my theatrical performance. Anyway, if you think I could be a good singer without learning the vibrato, please gimme a tip on how to be a better singer.
