If you are brilliant, they will not turn you down. When I worked at a Talent Agency, a great looking actor came into the office, other than his name, he had no tv or theater experience. He was flown to Hollywood and booked the lead role in a comedy tv series that ran for years! True story! You never know. It could happen. Also, the actor was NOT a SAG member when he booked the job! GOOD LUCK! Break-a-Leg.

Make up a resume with just some community theatre as your experiences. If you do that, make sure you pick titles that you are familiar with and who's material you can repeat if asked to. I have no professional experience, but plenty of actual community theatre experience, as well as some college classes at an art's college. But, if I were you, and could sing to, I'd use musicals that I had seen and can sing a song from, if "called-out". Good luck.

Study with some good acting teachers, be an extra on a movie set, do theatre. Then you start to be more equipped for auditions when you enter the business.

ummm...it depends
well, being part of SAG helps. if it's a low-budget, it probably wouldn't matter
if you're looking at a leading or "starring" role, then yes, probably
if you're looking just to be an extra or a "walk-on" you wouldn't need it
who knows, if you're awesome, the director might fall in love with you and INSIST that you be in his cast
lol

No they would turn you down because you are not an actor. Acting is not easy, no one is truly a natural. It takes training and skill.

They're much more likely to turn you down, but if you can really blow them away, then there's always a chance. Hey...can't hurt to try.

just go for it. If you have the techniques and everything they are looking for you might be it. But i suppose the chances are small. You need experience!
