It's a publishing company that I just stumbled upon and I've never heard of them before and I'm curious on the matters of reliability and to solidify that they're not a self-publishing company. All input is appreciated and thank you.

Why arent there any books on side quests or tales untold for the Lord of the Rings series? I mean Star Wars has a bunch of various stories on it, why doesnt Lord of the Rings? do they have some sort of copyright on the story that others cant write about it? I'm really interested in reading a book on LOTR since i have already read all 4 books.

I am a thirteen year old girl who loves to read. I love Harry Potter and finished all of those books! I love fantasy and sometimes realistic fiction. Nothing about sports! Can you please list some books that I might like to read?

love writing! I write in journals sometimes, but most often I write stories and poems. However, in the past month or so I cannot seem to think of what to write about. I am thirteen years old. I think and think, and there are no good ideas! What should I do?

I'm using livejournal.com to write a book so that I can access and write in it from any computer (I travel alot). I read through thr terms of service, and it does state that "LiveJournal claims no ownership or control over any Content posted by its users. The author retains all patent, trademark, and copyright to all Content posted within available fields." I also have it set on private, so no one can see it except me. So, if by some slim chance I publish it one day, will this come back to haunt me for some reason?

I read this in high school and thought it was wierd enough but recently I read it again and I started seeing things that are true in society today. The book was first published in 1936 so it's been quite a few years. For example promisquity in women becoming acceptable, birth control, alternatives to pregnancy, dependancy on drugs, finding humor in suffering, materialism, conditioning through media and advertising, modern sex toys, anthrax use, nine year war (you figure Bush will have served eight years and office and perhaps one year to completely end it), and increase in prejudice based on social class. Does anyone else find this disturbing or can you think of any other comparisons in the book?

When I walked into the kitchen, I snagged a strawberry pop tart off of the counter and hugged my mom good-bye. My sister Alyssa, who is 9, hated when I talked to her in the morning, so I didn't bother saying good-bye. I saw the bus pulling up to my house, and ran as fast as I could to catch it. Luckily, I made it just in time. I slouched into a seat next to my best guy friend, Chris. We had been friends since third grade, and always had something interesting to talk about. "Hey, loser." he joked. "Hey Chris." I replied. I sat down next to her and we talked for the whole bus ride while we made fun of “gansta” kids on our bus trying to dance.
When we arrived at school, I was greeted by the always annoying, Tia. "Oh my god, it’s Alex!" She squeaked. "Hey Tia" I mumbled. "ha-ha lacrosse was so much fun yesterday, and did you see Mike! Wow what a hottie, he’s obviously in love with me!” As I laughed to myself, I tried to fake a smile while I realized how conceited some people were.

i will add the rest on other questions so look at my pro*copyrighted*

"What is love?" I whispered to myself in the safety of my own room. "Oh please Alex...you have no idea." I yelled at myself in the mirror. I'm your average 13-year-old girl whose life is a mess. Middle school sucks and I'm a nobody on the social level. Plus, the guy I like has no idea that I exist. I'm not skinny and I'm not fat...nor am I pretty or ugly. I'm an average looking girl with straight brown hair and foggy green eyes. I have the greatest friends in the world, and I'd be nothing without them. I stared into the mirror, looking at myself hard, and long. Here we go, another great day of school...yeah I wish. I grabbed the first t-shirt I could find and a pair of old faded jeans. I threw my hair back in to my usual messy bun on the top of my head. Then I smeared my lips with watermelon crush, and put in a pair of huge hoop earrings. I was ready for another dramatic day of middle school.

Do you? I've found that reading is the ultimate in escaping this petty, bickering society. I don't even like it, when I read about divorce or cheating in any of my books. Then again, all I read is horror and sci-fi stuff. But anyway, do you read to escape the crappy reality of life and society?

Where can you buy the book of Marie Antoinette that actually tells the story, like the DVD? We watched the DVD at school and I would like to read the book as they usually have loads more details etc.
Thanks x
