Since you're writing about ONE writer (you say "A")
it should be A
But actually both are wrong; it should be this

"A writer's tone or attitude is his/her opinion or point of view."

or you could make it plural:

"Writers' tones or attitudes are their opinions or points of view."

P.S. Actually, the second "or" is fine - it adds balance and parallelism to the sentence.

A. -because you are referring to each INDIVIDUAL writer so 's = the tone and attitude belonging to THE writer. Even tho you are talking about multiple writers you are separating them by what you are saying. You would use B if you were pluralizing the phrase: Writers' tones or attitudes are their opinions or points of view.

A.
Writers' would be plural possessive. Writer's is singular. Since you used the "A" in front of the sentence, you need to use the singular possessive form.
Also, you might want to change "their" to "his or her", for the same purpose as above. You started out using singular, so you need to carry that through the entire sentence.
"A writer's tone or attitude is his or her opinion or point of view."

I take it like this:

A writer implies an individual. Therefore it is singular.
The "tone" & "attitude" belong to that writer.
Therefore, the apostrophe precedes the letter s

Option A is correct.

"A" is correct. I would say:
A writer's tone and attitude is their opinion or point of view.
(Get rid of that one "or")

Option A. Writer is singular and so the apostrophe denotes ownership.

As a side note, you may want to conisder you general sturcture, as the double "or" is not fantastic.
