You have to pick up Twilight. At 13, you are in the perfect age group to fall in love with this series. My daughter is about your age and after being totally obsessed with Harry Potter, is now begging and pleading with me to get her the 3rd installment in this series. I've read them too, and I must say, I can't get enough either. It's loads of fun. Even my 16 year old boy was getting pretty involved in the plot when we were listening to the second as an audio book!
The series is a romance/fantasy sort of thriller. The first chapters are available at the authors website. Try it. You'll love it!

Books I've read: The House of Night Series (Vampires) By: P.C. and Kristen Cast 1Marked 2Betrayed 3Chosen 4Untamed 5Hunted (just released March 10th) Summary: Zoey is your average popular highschooler, until she is chosen to become a vampire. Vampires start out as fledgings and go through the process until they reach fully grown vampires. Zoey doesn't want to be a vampire, the situation is taking her away from her friends and totally hot boyfriend. When she meets an even hotter fledging and some new friends, will she change her mind? Blindfold (Murder Mystery) By: Diane Hoh Twilight Saga (Vampires) By: Stephenie Meyer 1Twilight 2New Moon 3Eclipse 4Breaking Dawn Also she has The Host which is better than Twilight and it is about futuristic aliens who take over the world Vampire Academy By: Rachelle Mead The Uglies series By: Scott Westerfield 1Uglies 2Pretties 3Specials 4Extras (there is also a guid to this futuristic world) In our future as you turn 16 you get a surgery that improves your looks....but it also brainwashes you into thinking that is what you want to happen. Everyone is forced into the operation, except a select few who manage to escape to a runaway village. Wicked Lovely By:???? 1Wicked Lovely 2Ink Exchange I though it would be stupid because it is about faeries, but it is really good and action and romance packed. Tithe By:???? 1Tithe 2Valiant 3Ironside After I read Wicked lovely and realized the faeries weren't always so nice I found this series. There are a couple of really wierd parts, but in the end it's worth it. This series is really....different. Some non supernatural books are: Someone Like You and The truth About Forever _I reccommend you read the Truth About forever first it is much better. They are both by Sarah Dessen I HOPE I HELPED AND FYI IM AT A HIGHSCHOOL READING LEVEL BUT I GOT MOST OF THESE AT MY MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY SO YOU SHOULD BE GOOD NO MATTER WHAT! OH AND SORRY I DONT HAVE SOME OF THE AUTHORS BUT I DONT HAVE MY BOOKS WITH ME......

I love to read, too. The Harry Potter series is my absolute favorite, but I liked these as well.
The Trouble With Tink by Kiki Thorpe (this is part of the Disney Fairies Collection) its a little more than a 100 pages and is not like a disney baby book.
Avalon Collection Web of Magic 1-6 by Rachel Roberts, these books are about three girls with special powers trying to save these magical creatures.
The Fairy Realm Series by Emily Rodda, she also writes the Dragons of Deltora Series which is really good.
The Frog Princess and Dragons Breath by E.D. Baker, these are funny
Into the Land of Unicorns and Song of the Wanderer by Bruce Coville
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
The Princess Diaries Series by Meg Cabot
The Goblin Wood by Hilari Bell
I think these are all really great books and hope you find something you might like.
