Just in case, edutainment means education and entertainment (two in one). We are planning to publish a series of story book for kids, but we need to test if children would love them. How can we do that without risking copyright violations by the public? We are not a well-established enterprise just yet.

This is trivial, but the series of book will be titled "Pepper's Adventures", which will be a spin-off of a classical pick-and-play edutainment game, "Pepper's Adventures in Time" (released and abandoned in 1993). But at the mean time, we are waiting for an air mail response from its original owner, Sierra Entertainment, for the go-ahead.

I recently sent a children's book manuscript to multiple agents. I have received a few replies back saying they are unable to consider multiple submission inquiries. My question is, once all the agents have responded or after a period of time, can I then re submit the manuscript again to one of the previous agents but of course without it being a multiple submission. Do you think they would even bother to read it at this point?

Some critics maintain that this novel promotes hatred between classes of people. In what ways does it do that? In what way does the novel’s effect go beyond that?

In the Tales of Beetle and Bard that Hermione received from Dumbledore....there is a fable about three brothers.... Each brother asks or gets a special gift... that they think will make them more powerful.... sort of like the three little pigs... What is the tale... I forget.... and/or what is the significance of each gift/wish that each brother gets... One is like the wand... one, like the cloak.???... etc....Anything you can think of and can let me know would be appreciated....

I am just curious as to ways you think he did or did not. Do you think the storyline follows historical conditions and experiences of that era? I think it does but it is a book and on some level, it was made to be entertainment, not a textbook. So how much is unrealistic or exaggerated? Thanks for your thoughts!

PS. My question is my thesis question for an essay I am writing. Do you think this is a strong thesis? Any suggestions for my essay?

Hey,

so there are plenty of books, such as Gossip Girls, A-list, the It-Girl- novels plus all these kinds of "light literature", for young people. Usually they give such a bad example so that is why I was just wondering why most people think it's totally acceptable? I read these kinds of books myself, but.. Just wondering. : )

How did Neville end up with the "Sword of Gryffindor" at the end to kill Nagini? I thought the Goblin Griphook had it. Where did it come from?

I once tried to write a story about college football, but it didn't seem to work out. I gave up on it because I read over what I wrote on the characters playing football, and it was totally cheesy. Can someone tell me how to write a good football story?

For my English assignment, we have to write a children's book. It has to be at least 6 pages long. I know, it sounds way easy, but here's the catch. We have to use a general idea and then make it our own. For example, Toy Story. There have been a lot of stories where toys come to life, but they took that idea, and made their own story out of it. Do you have any suggestions I can use? Thanks.
