I have purchased books there I .know that some libraries will allow a box of free books in the lobby.
Hospitals such the veterans and I have heard of people sending them to USO stations. and overseas to soldiers.

Yep. Better yet if they are in good condition find a used book store (half priced books) and try to sell them back for a little cash.

yes, and so does your public library, most thrift stores, and organizations like Kids in Distress. or like the person before me said, (great idea btw) to send your books overseas to the army soldiers.
