It's a publishing company that I just stumbled upon and I've never heard of them before and I'm curious on the matters of reliability and to solidify that they're not a self-publishing company. All input is appreciated and thank you.

Artists Literary Group is not a publisher. They are an agency. They represent authors. The head of the agency left another reputable agency to start his own. According to Preditors and Editors and Absolute Write Water Cooler Bewares and Background Checks, both are highly recommended - although their rate of rejection is very high. If they are interested in your query, they will ask for a full or partial manuscript and a 30 day exclusive. However after that time, many get rejected. Nothing wrong with that - it just means their standards are very high. Give them a try. They are very well respected in the industry. Just make sure you are sending them material that hasn't been copyrighted or shared around the net and that you submit exactly according to their submission requirements. Pax - C
