Yes and I love doing it! I would go to the library, check out a ton of books and spend either that day or the next day just reading. On those days, I barely do anything. Homework is barely finished, socializing is meet with well concealed impatience, and eating, sleeping, and visits to the bathroom are severely limited. It's wonerful because there is so much excitement contained in books as well as new ideas.

Do you mean a day AND the nite? Actually that's what I'm doing right now. Started at 8 am and it's now almost 3 am. Newspapers, articles on the net, books (Alfred Kinsey - A Life and Jesus the Man). I'll regret it soon, i.e. when the alarm clock rings... Reading is a delight, but should come with the warning: Harmful to your health...

Yes. Specific books: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt. One of the best-written books I've ever read. Robert Cormier's books. Also any book by Orson Scott Card. I have trouble putting them down, but I used to read all day on weekends just for the fun of it.

yes, and I love when I can. It is often when I am tired, run down, maybe a bit sick...I dont want to sleep all day but dont want to do anything either. Maybe I'll stay in bed, maybe I'll fine a nice spot outside to read, maybe I will even go a few places, make my atmosphere fit my book.
Mind you, for the time bieng I am more likely to spend the day reading baby books to my son.

Oh yes. Many times I will go down to the shore and sit by the sea, in a shady spot, with a good book and read all day. Very relaxing and inexpensive!

Yes I have. I have three kids and the best present my boyfriend has given me was babysitting so I could spend an entire day reading.

Yes, but only when I have a stack of books I haven't read or books I love. I read and absorb words quickly, so I often go through one to two books in a couple hours (full length novels- anthologies take me a bit longer).

Sure have, once I get into a book it's just to hard to put down. You want to know how it ends, what's going to happen. Many time's I've just gone the whole day doing nothing but reading until I finish the book because I want to know so bad on what's going to happen! I know how you feel.Hope this answers your question :) Kelly

Yes. The last time was with a book "My Sisters Keeper". It was so good I had to finish it asap.
