Where can you buy the book of Marie Antoinette that actually tells the story, like the DVD? We watched the DVD at school and I would like to read the book as they usually have loads more details etc.
Thanks x

Films are notorious for adapting the truth for maximum audience appeal!

I second Bob's suggestion.

There are some books on this site, to the right. I also recommend the book by Antonia Fraser, and "Marie Antoinette" by Joan Haslip.

victoria holt wrote a book called marie antoinette and it was a fictional autobiography. I read it over the summer holiday and it was really good because it showed another side of her to what i had heard about her.
Hope this helps

Antonia Frazer has written a biography of her fairly recently. I haven't yet read it, but she is a very readable author and the book got good reviews.
