I have an idea for a book

it would include about 25-50 storeis from people around the country.
My only concern is royalty payments and such,
because of the nature and title of the book, I know it would get pretty good notice and sales. But if I include diffrent people's stories with pictures of them, do they get a cut or not? Or more percisly,
how do they get compensation, or do they just sign off thier rights?

thanks!

Any of these categories:
Romance
supernatural romance
advebture/romance
fantasy/romance
fantasy
and just those types of books EVERYONE should enjoy.. example: the 5 people you meet in heaven.
Im a teen, but i like YA(young adult) im mature as long as the romance isnt to abd, but immature so whatever, no kiddish romance, prefer true love. Also love fantays example: harry potter!

Ok. I have to write a 10 page response for my independent reading book and I'm going to divide it into sections...
This is my first time writting a 10 page response and I don't know how to do this, where to start and where to end? I seriously need help....
What should I write about? The author / style of writting/ characters/ plot/ theme/ andd????

and when i begin, for example, writting about major characters, should I title that section, major characters or should i title it something different?

Oh yeah, if you're going to write "do you HW by yourself" ---- Save yourself the time!!!

i'm ok when i wake up, go to school/work and think about what i'd like to accomplish. or when i go out with my friend, go to the movies, read a book & so on...but when i get home, in the afternoon and in the middle of the night (if i can't fall asleep) i feel really depressed. i so miss having someone in my life and it just doesn't happen. so how do i deal with being single and feel satisfied about being alone. (please don't write about going out and dating different people 'cause you can't force yourself into falling in love.) you can fool your mind but not your heart.

thanks.

Would like statistics, i.e. longest run on NY times bestseller list, not just personal opinions. Particulary interested in historical romance authors. Thanks.

The rain drifted in the wind making what looked like waves on the dry gorund. The ground soaked it up like a sponge but still looked parched. Oklahoma hadn't had rain for a long time, it seemed to Kiara that there hasn't been rain for years. Kiara ran out into the rain and danced. She didn't relize that would be her last dance in the rain, by herself at least.

It's about a Native American princess who wants to be free from her strict tribe. Does it sound like an award winner to you?

It's so strange to hear these words this way,
a year since you left me to this very day.
Your sister spotting me in a crowded mall,
then telling me sadly you're not well at all.

She tells me at night you cry before sleep,
things once mine you look at and weep.
You walk around dazed as if under some spell,
wear my old jersey to remember my smell.

But you married money so life would be fun,
stop grieving of things over and done.
You know I will always have feelings for you,
so words she tells me do make me blue.

If we tried it once more it could not be the same,
sometimes things happen with no one to blame.
Once mirrors are broken they all fill with cracks
and the same reflection can never come back

Did you know there's a movie coming out December 15? Tell me who wrote the book.

If any of you know about "Miranda vs. Arizona" of the "Miranda Rights," let me know. I have a debate coming up. *I represent Arizona*

I have been looking to find a trilogy of books I read as a child for YEARS...it's about a brother and sister, the brother is supposed to be a knight and the sister, a mage, they swap places and she hides her womanhood for years, eventually she finds a sword (something special about it...don't remember) I know this is going to sound sexist but the only scene from the book I remember clearly is she is swordfighting with the badguy and he slices through the bandages holding her breasts down and they pop up and everyone is shocked....even if you only know the name of ONE of the books, or the author(s) It would help me greatly...it's been driving me crazy for YEARS

I'm writing a novel and want to use intertextual refernces...like make references to real websites, fast-food chains, celebrities, etc. I know if you make a movie, and you show a Logo or talk about the company, say McDonalds, you have to get permission from the company. Does the same rule apply to writing novels?
