Did you know there's a movie coming out December 15? Tell me who wrote the book.

If any of you know about "Miranda vs. Arizona" of the "Miranda Rights," let me know. I have a debate coming up. *I represent Arizona*

I've heard of those books, and I've read the first one. Movie, aye? Horrible. They almost never make good movie adaptations out of books.

I think your Miranda question should have been put in a different question. Perhaps in the Law & Ethic section. It's completely unrelated to Books and Authors. But basically...it's the case that gave us the Miranda Rights. Basically, in the trial they determined that Miranda's Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination were violated. Basically, the defendant was not informed that because of the Fifth Amendment he has the right to stay silent and not get himself into trouble. In court it was decided that from now on anyone put under arrest must be informed of their rights.

"You have the right to remain silent. If you give up this right, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you by the court."

I have the movie premiere bookmarked on my calendar. I have talked several of my friends into reading the books and going to go see the movie. Christopher Paolini wrote the books. Eragon was written when Paolini was only 15. The books are incredibly unique but still written in the traditional style of fairy tales. The third and final book in the series is set to come out sometime between 2007 and 2008, so there is a good bit of time to wait for it. Between Eragon and Eldest my favorite would probably have to be Eragon. What is your favorite of the two?
