i am trying to learn french for work and jsut started. id like to read childrens books in french or even better, listen to them being read on tape or cd. any and all help is appreciated.

There is an international magazine shop on State St, one block north of Chicago Ave. Europa Bookstore, 832 N. State St. They sell tons of French books and magazines for learning and immersion. Bonne chance!

Join the Alliance francaise, they have a lending library!
Also, infrench.com is in Canada, so the shipping and handling are better than amazon.fr (or try amazon.ca)
