It's about a Native American princess who wants to be free from her strict tribe. Does it sound like an award winner to you?

Sounds good to me! I love a good princess story. If you turn it into a romance I would be even happier. Do you have a link to it? If you do I would love to read your story/ies. Just email me if you have one.

Hmm, yeah, sounds a bit cliched. Why don't you try doing the opposite and make the story about a really prissy, stuck-up Native American princess who wants to be free of her decadent, depraved tribe.

If you look at the tribes of north eastern US (Iroquois, Huron, Algonquin etc) you'll find they all thrived on deviant sex acts and sadistic (like Bret Easton Ellis sadistic) torture.

Not saying you should use this as a background to your story necessarily, but it's worth bearing in mind that not all Native Americans were into crystals, rain dances and tree-hugging.

Well it depends on the reader. Personally i enjoy biographies, memiors, real life eperiences. Something that can really happen and that I can relate to. It doesnt have to be true but make it seem like it is. Maybe a girls life as she goes through college. Like felicity the tv show. Something with tragety and love. Something desperate yet hopeful. Thats what life is all about anyway.

No. It sounds really, really boring. Are the such things as Native American "princesses" anyway? Do some fact checking.

Sounds similar to the plot of Sabrina. Anyone wanting to be free of something makes interesting reading if your characfters and writing keep the readers' attention.

It's not really the idea that matters most, it's how well that idea is executed. Anyone who has picked up a book because it sounded very interesting, only to be very disappointed can attest to that.

it's a good start. what you need is more background. more history to write a book like that. after looking into it more, you may have more ideas for the story. good luck!

you need to add in lesbians, and minotaurs. perhaps there could be an orgy with 8 lesbians, and 3 minotaurs, and a midget. now that's an award winner. my cat just farted.
