I would really like to write a Petrarca sonnet, but the lingo of poetry is so diffucult to understand if someone could give me a very simplistic "lingo" free explination so I can write one myself. Thanks

sometimes

Sometimes I feel I am stuck in a mire
Lost and forgotten, like someone's old tire.
I know it now, I should never give up
I may be a little old, yet I feel like a pup.

You are the one who gives me my hope
What was I thinking? God, what a dope.
A second chance is what cried for
You've given me that and quite a bit more.

I used to feel so bad I would cry
I really wished, that I'd just up and die.
But not anymore, I have love on my side
I might still choke, but I swallow my pride.

I feel the anguish down deep in my heart,
Whenever I think of the two of us apart.
I now have a chance, my feet hit the floor
My last little thought, I wonder what life has in store.

This is for someone very special who is attempting to change my view on life.

Hey!
I'm looking for a really good monologue for a male about age 20-35 from a play written after the 1940's. I was thinking perhaps Tennessee Williams or Arthur Miller, but I'm absolutely open to ANYTHING! Thanks!!!!!

Here's an interesting perspective on life I have:
I believe every single living person has won the lottery at least once! This was allowed for and done in our process of being conceived. Okay so you've never won that damn money lottery and you’re not a millionaire, that's ok that’s not what I am talking about. You are here alive today and that is freaking amazing! Let's look at the staggering odds you beat to even be born; the average sperm count in just one ejaculation of a man ranges between 120-160 million little spermies. You at one time were of but one single sperm swimming against at least 119 million sperms on a race to see who'll fertilize the egg to then be born someday. CONGRADUALATIONS, against all odds you made it. So you've actually won the lottery of life! Now if that's not mind bogging enough imagine this, you only had one shot at making it to the egg, and your only allowed to choose to shoot threw one single ejaculation out of the hundreds of ejaculations that a male will experience in his lifetime! If you were even just a little off on choosing which ejaculation wave to ride or how fast or slow to swim you would seize to exist! So once again CONGARADULATIONS YOU'VE WON THE LOTTERY OF LIFE! Now whether no matter what sperm made it, it would of still have been you but just with a different genetic gene code (male, female, handsome, gruesome) is a whole other subject in itself so let's not even get into that one HAHAHA

I'm really interested in self. I like self knowledge, self understanding, self employed, self assured. I'm also interested in freedom: freedom of expression, financial freedom, freedom of choice. I enjoy solving problems and I would like to work with nature and animals. I like the healthy life leanning more towards holistic. I also Like the Ancient world blended with the world of the future. What Job would give me financial indipendence within 5 yearse well still allowing me to enjoy all my interest at a wim?

I read this book as a child about a girl who would pick flowers in the woods and was lured by a giant wolf deeper into the woods where "the prettier flowers" were. This was an old book, and I would like to find it for my young sister and brother.

Filling the Emptiness Within

Already used to walking alone
She stood on the edge of the woods
Letting the sun warm her face
It's touch might smooth away every thought
The roughness of the grass on her finger tips
Letting it fill her mind
Memorising the pattern of the leaves of the forest floor
Saplings turned and twisted towards the light
To keep these things forever
To have them fill the emptiness inside
A feeling so profound
She took up her pencil and drew
The only way to free her of loneliness

If there's something to desire,
There will be something to regret.
If there's something to regret,
There will be something to recall.

If there's something to recall,
There was nothing to regret.
If there's nothing to regret,
There was nothing to desire.
