Help...How do the ppl on DEVIANT ART get their sketches to look so GOOD? what programs and stuff?

I know they use some sort of paint program but I dont know what / how...And I heard someone say something about a 'tablet'? and what do they use to get their pictures on deviantart? thanks...I am really interested in drawing but all I got is a #2 pencil and sum notebook paper and I want my art to look like the pros... ;)

A tablet is most likely a Wacom Tablet or another mouse-pen device so that they can draw right into the computer program by using something more like a pencil, not like a regular mouse.

Most of the artists will use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or something similar to those in order to color their art in. These are very expensive programs, but there are cheaper versions like Paint Shop Pro that have similar capabilities.

Getting the art into Deviantart is either a matter of making the art in Photoshop, saving it as a .jpg file and then uploading it onto the site, or by scanning it in with a scanner, saving it as a .jpg file and then uploading it to the site.
