I want to learn a few moves from these dance styles, but I won't be doing that to become a pro dancer. Will a good pair of Nikes be ok? Any other advice? Thanks a lot!

I know I just posted a question yesterday that in some way lamented the many many many postings of Harry Potter related questions. But my curiosity just got the better of me.

The news has been filled with the story of the Hacker who claimed to Hack into Bloomsbury and get the manuscript for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He's posted it online in an attempt to take away the pleasure of reading the book when it comes out because he believes Harry Potter to be evil.

Regaurdless of his beliefs, or if you think it's the real deal, will you or have you peaked? Are you curious enough to risk spoiling the book if it is the real thing or would you rather not see it even if it's completely made up? If you have I don't want you to post anything said on there here, please give everyone the courtesy they deserve and don't spoil anything. I just want to know if you would look or have looked. A simple yes i will, no I won't, or I have looked with be sufficiant.

Imagine a woman made completely from her art.

Say she is a poet. How would she exist before she learned to write? Would she be made from other people's poems until she could write her own?

What about a painter? Would she be made out of DaVinci and Michaelangelo and Rembrandt before she learned to wield a brush?

What about a composer? Would we see a jumble of musical notes trundling down the street in a humanoid shape?

Besides the overmentioned Anne Rice, what authors or particular vampire novels do you love? I'm looking to find something engaging and interesting. Whether its more horror, more drama, more mystery, it doesn't matter. I just want something worth taking the time out to read. Any suggestions?

We have a my hubby's great great great (I think it is that many) grandfather's civil war discharge. It is in the original frame and I believe it is 20 x 20. It is awesome to look at...and I am glad we have it. It hand drawn and very impressive.

Questions is....is this just a fancy verison of his discharge? Did they give it to the solider because they "won" the war? Are there many of them still in exisitence?

Virginia's main purpose was for profit and trade. What about the others political freedom, home for debators, religious freedom, things like that.

Can anyone name a few? I'm looking to start reading some. I don't really care for Agatha Christie's work, and the last Cromwell book I picked up "Body Farm" (I know it's older) I did not like because of the deus ex machina.

I want answers from different point of views here, so could you please tell me honestly, how can I persuade you to become active and stand up and speak out for the weaker ones; for the less fortunate; for the innocents labelled guilty!
What will it take from me, to open people's eyes and show them the other side of the world? To make them understand the suffering of some beings? To make their heart beat in the name of generosity and righteousness? How am I supposed to open this window so tightly closed nowadays by silly divisions, fanatical and narrow-minded ideas and convince people that living and loving each other is what we should be doing? How am I supposed to covince YOU to join forces to bring goodness in this world so as to cancel out all the negative things? How?
Thank you :-)

I am starting an organization and I remember reading how the corporation in Tai Pan ran. I would like to model it after that. So if you know where in the book or where in the series; or you can just explain it to me that would be groovy. Thx!

Okay so i'm 14 and i don't like reading! The only books that i enjoy are written by Lurlene Mcdaniel, i mean i love these books and can read them in a few hours!! I have read all of them now, including her newest Hit and Run which by the way was sort of a disapointment. I think the only reason i like them is because they are mostly about diseases like cancer and diabetes, but they usually involve romance! I also feel that i know the characters because they seem so real. Does anyone else feel the same way as i do? And does anyone know of an author that writes similar books?

Live life
Live without regret for no moment is wasted because
every moment lived is another moment to be cherished
Experience life
Learn to appreciate life for its delicateness and inticateness
Do what you love or challenge yourself, it makes no difference
because the gift of life should be accepted as easily as it is given
Your life is not yours to take
Life's lessons maybe hard and cruel, but they are all worth learning and living
Live because there may not always be tomorrow

I'm curious as to what happened to the two Japanese diplomats who delivered Japan's Declaration of War to Roosevelt. I assume they were probably exchanged for American diplomats in Japan. If they were sent back to Japan, how was this done?
