Many believe that we go to another reality after we die, and this was in fact an issue that consumed many long before the time of Jesus. The fathers of philosophy were fixated with the idea that as human beings we are superior to animals and that we possess a greater purpose. This conclusion was based on our superior intellect. Socrates (399 B.C.) displayed unparalleled courage when he willingly died for what he believed to be true. However, before him, the idea of temporality and change received endless treatment. The idea of life after death is certainly very appealing. What do u think?

Below the ocean,
Where there's love,
Lies my heart,
That shines above.

So beautiful and unique,
As we shall treat,
Love from my heart,
Is like love from me.

Love me and my heart
Shall brighten your life.
Hate me and my heart
Shall take away your life.

Love doesn't just grow on trees,
But love from my heart grows on me.
Treat me like I was your own,
But love me like I am your own.

Altar boy

The smell of incense still revolts,
Draging me back to the day.
Of deep dark secrets, never to be spoke,
Under threat of ridicule and pain.

An altar boy, I was one time,
My grandparents so proud.
Roman Catholics, both of them,
The priesthood, surely I'd been called.

But in the darkness of the church,
Evil lurks, with no escape.
Don't you ever tell anyone,
Not your parents, not even to God.

I knew it wrong, I was ashamed,
I tried to tell my mom.
I got no help, no sympathy,
Just punished, for my insolence.

My life's been hard, I carry this,
Just like a crown of thorns.
I speak these words, not for penance,
But to get it off my chest.

If it can happen to a boy like me,
It can happen to all the rest.
Retribution will not cure me,
Letting go, might be the best.

This is the second part of the first poem I wrote today. This is a rewrite, i made some minor changes to tone down the anger.
The priest who committed these atrocities is dead.

It would have to be an answer that is honest(he knows you already)in order to let you into Heaven or perish amongst the fiery river of death. $1 DOLLAR A DAY TO COMPOUND FROM EVERYONE IN THE WORLD/UNITED STATES. GOD is presently with those people as we speak crying for our help, some of us are helping but the majority are not, and turning their backs on GOD in a time where we can help as his children/by letting his other children die in front of our very faces!! WE HAVE TO CHANGE WITHIN ONE CALENDER YEAR OR PERISH. GOD CAN END ALL OF THIS WITHOUT WITHOUT BATTING AN EYE. HIS SIGNS OF TORMENT ARE TO GET US TO STOP TALKING ABOUT IT AND JOIN IN THE FIGHT AND BECOME ALL GODS CHILDREN ONCE AGAIN INSTEAD OF DIVIDED.

...without going into too much detail about the religion side. My novel is focused on a village and the characters are all Catholic, some are nuns, a priest and a bishop. The novel is more about their tangled lives and the secrets they are hiding from each other.
As a non catholic I realise there is more to the religion than I know about, but like a lay person watching the film 'the nuns story' I want to write my novel along the same elk.
I don't have any catholic friends I can talk to in which to verify my story.
I really want to write this story so please no one tell me to write about only what I know. That would be boring to me and I'd never learn anything.
Thanks in advance.

I always thought that meant that the book is in, but some of the books that I want that say that aren't anywhere to be found.

Next to the status by one of the books, it says "technical services." Does that mean that they have the book somewhere else?

My library confuses me.
