there is a gene that scientists have isolated in people who 'believe' in God.

I saw a documentary on it...so if it is true, do you think it means:

1-spirituality is a genetic evolutionary trait

2-there really are 'chosen ones' and heavenly blood lines

3-there are things we don't understand about genes and how could they know this or not.

4-other

I don't want to offend any one so please don't comment harshly about point 2...thanks in advance.

A.publication of Uncle Tom's Cabin
B.refusal of northern states to obey the Fugitive Slave Law
C.desire of southern politicians to seize Cuba and make it a slave territory
D.repeal of Henry Clay's Compromise of 1850

I think the answer should be C or D. But i cannot find any clues in the book "repeal of Henry Clay's Compromise of 1850" in this phase.

I need to know the STANDARD fingerings for both hands playing minor scales- it would be nice if answers could cite a method book or other reference. Please use '1' for the thumb, '2' for the index finger, '3' for the middle finger and so on. If you don't know all the scales, even just a few would be fine. Any 'rules' for certain scales or groups of scales (such as 'in the major scales A-flat through B-flat, the right hand fourth finger always lands on B-flat, and left hand fourth finger always lands on the fourth degree of the scale') would be greatly appreciated as well. Please do not note any fingerings other than the ones considered 'standard', as noted by any method book from the U.S., U.K. or France.

Ironically, people who claim to be religious and have "faith" are the first to question their beliefs.

If it is faith, why question it?

I've been drawing and been fond of the arts since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Now I'm attending art school in to become a character artist in the game industry. Since games are gearing towards realism now knowing the human anatomy is very important.

I've taken a life drawing class but I feel like didn't get enough feed back from my professor. I still don't get sighting and measuring and I have a vague idea of proportions.

This is a very competitive industry. I've even looked up sites like www.conceptart.org and looked at people demo reels for character artist. Looking at those works I've come to realize that my work is really bellow par.

Some days I can't even bring myself to draw or model because of the fear of the things being out of proportion. Some days I feel like I've feel like I've fallen out of love with art because my work isn't good enough. Because of this at times I feel like I've wasted my life perusing art.

What should I do?

They only intend to teach and show people a way of life, but never wanted to start a cult. Jesus wanted to get people to live a life of compassion and faith in God. Muhammad wanted to wake people up from worshiping symbols and objects that are meaningless and teach them a lifestyle similar to what Jesus taught. Siddhartha Gautama of Buddhism wanted to teach people to reach enlightenment. Guru Nanak of Sikkhism created a way of life in between the Muslim's and Hindu's philosophy. Confucius promoted a life of wisdom and Lao Tzu of Taoism promoted a life of balance and etc. All these founders have something in common. They only wanted to teach a way of life, not start a cult. Jesus never said to build a church system that would look like today's system (which consists of a lot of riches, gold, and pride). I realized that the people after the founders start the cult which holds immense pride and corruption. We are forgetting about the way of life, the most important aspect of religion.
