supposedly when this 13 years old was on the ride, there was a mishap with the electric wires and it snapped, and as the ride went round about it cut her legs off there were many that were traumatized and hurt even the little kids but thank God that they took her to teh hospital and put both her legs back on, some people said that they would never go back, some people went back the very next day, i don think I could have done it, so quickly,

but my prayers and healin go to her and the family and the families that were affected

Does anyone know how you can post a question on JK Rowlings Official Sites FAQ? There are questions in the FAQ regarding The Books, JKR and Other Questions but there doesn't seem to be anywhere that you can ask your own question? Do you have to be a WOMBAT member to ask one and if so, how? Because I just passed the 3rd Wombat and can't find anyway to post a question to JKR?
Or do you simply have to mail her a question to the publishers and hope she picks yours to answer on the site?

Can you please help me? I need it really soon? Here's a copy of the poem. I must go down to the seas again,
to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship
and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song
and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face
and a grey dawn breaking.

I must go down to the seas again,
for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call
that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day
with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume,
and the sea-gulls crying.

I must go down to the seas again
to the vagrant gypsy life,
To the gull's way and the whale's way
where the wind's like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn
from a laughing fellow rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream
when the long trick's over.

Obviously we are conscious - of things, self, colors, ... What's not so obvious is why we're conscious at all

(By "consciousness" I mean a recognition of something, seeing something else. Even self-awareness is seeing yourself *as* an Other; you're stepping back from yourself, so to speak.)

"Survival value" doesn't seem like a plausible explanation to me, because both the owl and the mouse are already conscious. Sunflowers track the sun, suggesting an awareness of it, though I'm not sure. (I'm inclined to say yes.) I'm interested in why animals and (maybe) plants are conscious to begin with.

The following image is supposed to be an image of the deluxe US copy for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Note it appears to be Harry, Ron, and Heromine riding a dragon, totally different from the Harry and Voldemort cover for the regular US edition. So could this mean that Norbert will be returning for the final book? The image does kinda resemble the movie version of Norbert, only full grown.

Support your nominee with cogent argument.

My nominee is the one American writer most often singled out by nearly every American luminary in the field: The immortal Thomas Wolfe (1900-1931). "O, lost, and by the wind grieved, ghost, come back again."

Thomas Wolfe's works are enshrined at the Harvard University Library. He is regarded as rawly emotional and at the same time lyrical and poignant. His semi-autobiographical work describes both a young man and a young country coming of age with such austere and, at times, tragic beauty that his novels read like epic poems. I mosty highly recommend Thomas Wolfe to any reader who lusts for the shared experiences of living and who loves the written word with all the blind passion of a steam locomotive hurtling toward the next bend in the rail.
