According to what I've read about the Luna casting call, you may not even see the casting director. They were divided into groups and only 2-3 people were picked out from each to get their picture taken and put on file, and even fewer were called back -- based on appearance -- to audition. It may be different for this one (Lavender Brown, yes?) but try not to set yourself up for disappointment.. just enjoy the fact that you get to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of going to an HP casting call, and whatever is meant to happen will happen. Good luck! :)

the final information could come from e book revenues. Harry Potter remains merchandising decently for a sequence this is over 10 years old. The final e book offered 44million contraptions. That everyday you may desire to probably assume the the remainder of the sequence offered that if not extra. The starvation video games Trilogy has around 26million contraptions obtainable, and particular 10 million or so contraptions on the guy books. Harry Potter is by utilizing a lot extra everyday than the starvation video games while it comprises e book revenues... action picture sensible, the final harry potter action picture pulled in $a million.3 billion in fee ticket revenues, which places it in a stable 4th place spot, recently displaced from third by utilizing The Avengers. the 1st action picture on my own has grossed almost $1billion money. The starvation video games has grossed approximately $400million in theaters, this is almost $100million extra beneficial than Harry Potter did, yet pondering the objective demographic its not marvelous pondering Twilight did the comparable factor.

Do your best! By the way, if you are trying out for the part of Lavender Brown, then you have to be 15-18 years old. Sorry if you already know, just wanted to make sure you didn't go to the audition without getting a chance to audition.

Normally you don't dress the part, with with the amount of people likely to show up I think you have to do something to set yourself apart and show them that you want it. I would at least dress to 'suggest' the part and I would either be in character the entire time or atleast be happy and friendly because you never know who's watching and making the decision on who will get a callback and who won't.

Above all, just be likeable. Be someone they can see themselves hanging around for a few months.

Good luck!

Hi! I'm going too and I'm in the same situation! I have absolutely no experience and no idea what to expect, but I'm going to go and I'm going to give it my best. I think the main thing is to appear confident - keep a smile on your face and be friendly and polite to everyone there. Also, just dress in casual, comfortable clothes and have a bottle of water. I don't think that they'll want to see any acting straight away, I think they'll just base this audition on looks.

Anyway, the very best of luck to you! =)

you should dress the part so you can show them that you are able to look the part. you should really practice your butt off if it's your first one. stepping into a huge film like harry potter right from the beginning is going to be very hard. you should expect them to be honest. just dont be nervous and try to do what you have been preparing for!
