Both of these responses are excellent. However, on your NEXT flute, youmight want to get an additional key. It OPENS in the same place, although it has 2 different names, depending where the key you TOUCH is placed. I have both of these possibilities on two of my flutes. One is called a B?C# trill - and you need that AND one of the RH trill keys to do the G3/A3 trill. IT is located as a second curved key, above to auxilliary Bb key (RH1).

The other key is *called* a G/A trill key, and it is a small trill key right next to the RH1 trill key. Since you can get BOTH of thosetrill keys with one finger, it makes that trill espcially sweet and easy. I have this key on a Sakurai professional flute ( that actually someone I met on this list may be interested in purchasing!)

well what i do (i have NO idea if this is right) is play a high B (like normal) and put down your second finger on your left hand. thats just a B to an A but it might be a trill. I'm not completely sure
